The Aces' show appeals to fans of all ages. Standing ovations are the norm following their show, which can include the spinning of 1, 2, 4, 8, 10 or 12 basketballs at once (by an 11-year old girl!), doing somersaults or cartwheels while spinning the ball, spinning the basketball on top of a 14-foot pole while balancing the pole on their chin, synchronized dribbling of up to 3 basketballs at once, a 5-year old spinning 2 basketballs on top of a 5-person pyramid, and much, much more!
Dick Vitale of ESPN says, "The Aces are awesome, baby! I just love to watch those kids!"
Bill Walton: "The Aces are inspiring and absolutely amazing!"
University of Tennessee: "The Aces brought 21,000 orange clad fans to their feet!"
The Alexandria Aces Basketball Performance Team is in their 24th year of existence. Initially beginning as a basketball handling club, the team has progressed into one of the top half-time acts in the NCAA & NBA!
The Aces are coached by Larry Novotny, former basketball trick artist who performed his basketball magic across much of the U.S. in the 1970's and '80's.
The Aces are comprised of boys and girls, ages 5-12. Their show, which includes spectacular dribbling, juggling, and amazing spinning feats, has been seen by over 3,000,000 fans across the United States and Canada.
They have been featured at half-times of high school, CBA, NCAA, Final Four, and NBA basketball games. They have been seen on ESPN, FoxSports, and on various major networks.
